Chikli Consulting LLC is a technical consulting firm built on the belief that great software comes from disciplined engineering practice — whether the code is written by a person or an agent.

Our story

Chikli Consulting was founded in 2001, beginning with an architecture and development engagement at Ford Motor Company. Since then, we've delivered technical consulting, Lean/Agile coaching, and custom software development to organizations ranging from federal agencies and Fortune 500 enterprises to fast-moving, venture-backed technology companies.

Over that time, the work has evolved from Sybase and Java EE, to cloud-native Kotlin microservices at massive scale, to today's frontier: helping engineering organizations put Claude and agentic AI tooling to work in production — without abandoning the rigor that made those earlier systems reliable in the first place.

We engage as embedded technical consultants and coaches, drawing on a network of senior specialists sized to fit each initiative. Every engagement is led hands-on — we write code, run coaching sessions, and sit in your standups, not just deliver slide decks.

Code should pass its tests, reveal intent, avoid duplication, and use the fewest elements that get the job done — in that order.

We manage flow, not just tasks — using WIP limits, cycle time, and bottleneck analysis to make delivery predictable.

Agentic tools like Claude Code raise the ceiling on what a disciplined team can ship — they don't replace engineering rigor, they demand more of it.

Collectively, our team has served as developers, architects, technical leads, and coaches across retail, automotive, finance, healthcare, defense, and technology organizations — and today, that same discipline drives how we help teams adopt AI in production.
